▶ PM. 1:00 ▶ Oct. 3 2032 Upon the strange and unsettling laboratory view, the Portals opened. The soldiers of the Expedition "Lady Menlila" Regiment stood ready. They lined up and began walking into the Portal one by one. Their Regiment Sergeant looked back once, frowning, before thrusting forward into the light. The body-cam video was recovered after the subsequent pullback for resource resupply and further exploration planning. The footage showed areas of empty halls and unexpected corners that held chairs, rooms full of various furniture, paintings, and a few drawings on the walls. The establishment of mandatory taping was critical to prevent getting lost in this seemingly endless area of random walls, rooftops, and strange staircases. This was the report from the first reconnaissance before recovery and eventual redeployment. Acting Lancer-Soldat, Log Entry: "I walked into the Portal feeling a bit weird, like we were being watched. I asked the others if they had the strange feeling; most didn't think about it.
