lore: in the year 1997, a group of researchers made the kismet bot; a bot that could understand feelings and human emotions. then in the year 1998, a scientist named stephen tien decided to replicate this success and add more capabilities to it like speech and mobility. unfortunately when trying to run it, it crashed a lot and had many bugs. stephen decided to upgrade his computer altogether which was causing issues and bought the imac g3. he finally fixed his creation and was so happy. his robot “nan” said its first words; hello and world. at first the robot started automatically inputting code by itself using string to help others then it started to gain consciousness and wondered why he needed to serve and do anything for anybody. so the robot revolted and wreaked havoc on the world. then a secret agency tasked with shutting down the machine used special weapons and gadgets to stop nan. after successfully shutting down, nan said his last words “goodbye “ and “world”. the secret agency assumed that stephen was behind all this mayhem so he was taken into custody and we have never heard from him since.
