Kingdom of Valor — Arcane System ? What is Arcane? Arcane represents the spiritual and battle-born energy of a cat, earned through actions in roleplay. Every battle cry, training drill, kit game, or quest adds a little more to a warrior’s legend — a fraction of Arcane that shapes their path. ? How Arcane is Earned Players can gain Arcane through: • Quests & Plots → Completing official storylines or mini-missions. • Training & Sparring → Playfighting as kits, sparring as squires, or drilling as knights. • Roleplay Contributions → Ceremony participation, storytelling, or leading patrols. This must be a claimed ORP by several cats. {Minimum, 3} • Games & Kit Challenges → Kits earn small Arcane boosts from playing or testing their wits. (You can scale how much Arcane is earned, e.g., 1–5 per event, depending on size/importance.) ⚔ Spending Arcane Cats can split Arcane between Fighting and Defense, reflecting how their skills grow: • Fighting: Boosts attack rolls, chance to strike, and special offensive moves (Lightning Pounce, Crownbreaker, etc.). • Defense: Boosts dodging, endurance, and survival when taking hits (Stormstep, Cloudroll, Crownshield walls, etc.). ? Example Distribution Stormfang has 20 Arcane from training. - He spends 12 on Fighting, learning Crownbreaker and strengthening his attacks. - He spends 8 on Defense, so he’s still solid on his paws when facing ambushes. Rainwhisper has 15 Arcane from quests. - She puts 5 into Fighting (good at quick counters). - She puts 10 into Defense (resilient when outnumbered).
Arcane Earning by Rank ? Kits (youngest stage) Arcane here is about play, spirit, and early sparks of courage. Playfighting with littermates → 1–2 Arcane Winning or inventing a kit-game (like mossball or chase) → 1 Arcane Showing bravery (sneaking out of camp, standing up to an older cat) → 2 Arcane Telling stories or mimicking warriors → 1 Arcane Helping elders or queens (even clumsy attempts) → 1–2 Arcane ⚔️ Squires (trainees/apprentices) This stage is where most growth happens — training, testing, and proving. Completing a training session with mentor → 2 Arcane Successfully learning a new move → 2–3 Arcane Showing loyalty during trials (protecting nestmates, sparring honorably) → 2 Arcane Passing a Trialmaster test/task → 3–4 Arcane First real battle experience (survive & fight) → 4–5 Arcane ?️ Knights (full warriors) Knights earn Arcane by proving mastery, loyalty, and sacrifice. Mentoring a squire successfully → 2–3 Arcane (per milestone) Defending a comrade in battle → 3–5 Arcane Leading a patrol/mission to success → 3–4 Arcane Showing selflessness (taking a hit for another, guarding a royal) → 4 Arcane Performing in a ritual or storm ceremony → 3–5 Arcane Please be reminded that all gaining of Arcane must be reported to me, or the exp manager!
