Knocked this out in like 30 minutes after I discovered halftone printing while researching some old styles of photography. Halftone printing was invented by William Fox Talbot for the purpose of printing photo negatives with only one color of ink, while keeping the gradients that naturally occur in a photo. Here's a bit more on that: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halftone I took all the sample photos myself, and the program is optimized to only work with black and white images. This project can also be reverse engineered to scan and store black and white images.
