This is a chunk of Lore Behind North Platte. North Platte was the northern part of the Platte Republic, the government controlling the North and South. In 1824, a civil war broke out between north and south, with the latter being defeated and merging into the north to Create a NEW Platte Republic. The north had more people and decided to keep the name as North Platte. In 1863, Russia attempted to attack the country and add it in to its ranks. Despite the larger army, Russia lost and was forced back out of North Platte. Since then, North Platte has become a hub for military aviation innovations, such as supermaneuverability and, the star of the NPAF (North Platte Air Force), the F/A-41 "Tomcat II" Stealth Swing Wing Fighter Attack Jet.
