NANOWRIMO NOVEMBER 2013 "DIARY" --------------------------------------------------------- My first NaNoWriMo! :D I'm working on a book called "Ominous Waters". But wait...you don't know what NaNoWriMo is? The letters stand for "National Novel Writing Month". It's an official site, with members all over the world, who participate in the ultimate challenge every November: Writing 50,000 words in just 30 short days. That's only 720 hours. 43200 minutes. So yeah, not a lot of time. You MUST start a new book on November 1st, and To "win" you must submit those 50,000 words to a word counter on the site. Every day in November, I'll try to update it with the current day. I'd really love some encouragement to cheer me on as well! :) This is really hard for me with school and everything. If I end up making the full 50K, I'll post an excerpt of my book on here. Scratch On!
Total Word Count: This means the amount of words I have written so far in the entire month. Keep an eye on this one...its the key to success. My success anyway :P Words Written Today: Pretty self explanatory, I think. Bascically, the amount of words I've written on that day. To meet the full 50K, I have to write 1,667 words per day. Words To Go: The amount of words I need to write in order to reach that 50K. :) Feeling: How am I feeling about this today? Was I inspired, excited, tired, distressed, or just plain "Bleh"? Scene Today: What happened in my book today? Did the young sorcerer become a castaway on the boat? Did the two pirate ships battle it out for the final victory? Notes/Comments: These are just my general comments for that day. They may include if I went to a NaNoWriMo event at my local library (My local library hosts write-ins, word wars, and get-togethers for NaNoWriMo every Thursday in November for NaNoWriMo. I know, my hometown is awesome! :D), elaborating on my feeling today, or just something else. Always NaNo related though, of course :) Thanks for reading!
