The wound on its back had been confining them to its den for a few days. They stood up, wincing in pain. The pain was at its worst. "I should really go see Peirce..." They muttered. They padded out of camp, holding back a limp. They smelled a mouse, pouncing and k1lling it. The impact from the pounce hitting the ground was painful.. too painful. They limped over to a nearby tree, pain spreading through its body. Were they... dying? No. No no no. They couldn't be /dying/. They were too young to d1e. They had /promised/ they wouldn't d1e. They promised... "Im sorry, Burntflare.. we had something.. I could feel it." They said. "Moonfly.. Im so sorry.. I wish I knew you a bit better. Thanks for saving me from the tree." They said, remembering the time when they were just an apprentice. "Piercerequiem.. its not your fault.. you tried. I should have talked to you more." They said, breath raspy in pain. "Kismetstar.. though you might now be an elder, you were the best mentor I could have asked for. Thank you, for everything." Every breath hurt by now, but they had one more. "Lavendermist.. sure, I never really knew you, but you helped me get over my fear a little. You were.. interesting? Congratulations on becoming deputy." They said. They couldnt say anymore. It was too painful. "Im... sorry.." They said, drifting off to d3ath. "Goodbye.." (ERP)

Amber has been my most developed gens character. They could express feelings. They had friends. They had lore and trauma. I was so scared those weeks ago when they got a major in the weekly updates. I got healing, they got better, than worse again, and then passed. Don't tell Dewsong this, but Amber was just /better/. I will miss her greatly. Goodbye Amber. I'll miss you.
