Random adventurer’s takes on the Brutehook: “I liked stridehooks better..” -The greatest swordfighter EVER! “why. what even IS life at this point. is this…THING classified as an organism? is this natural? what defines natural? it was made by natural things out of natural materials, but does not exist without the help of its creators.” -The crow that talks for some reason is chill tbh ————————————————————————— No one exactly knows how these strange beings appeared. All we do know is that they stride and grip like a man with the body of a stridehook. To some, these creatures are no more than a myth, a creature from stories told to children. But to most, they are real and seen. There are primitive spells that fuse two beings together, but that would both require an immense understanding and powerful magic, as well as a lack of morals. Who would slay a man just for an unatrual chimera? These creatures stride bipedally. Interestingly enough, they still breathe out of their side-faced gills. Their frontal legs have been moulded into crude, 3-finger grippers. They do not seem to be very dexterous, from what we've seen. There are sightings of Brutehooks chomping down on bones, most likely for the marrow. Their jaws are quite durable as well as able to deliver a crushing bite. There are sights of brutehooks carrying logs in the forest. Their relationship with other beasts is mostly unknown but they have been seen walking alongside zombies. Strange, considering how they could easily defeat one.
