I use the education license for school because the commercial license costs an unreasonable like $2-3000 dollars or so and I don't know how to use Blender. History of the Tank: This tank is the German/American Cold War Prototype tank the KPz-70 (German Designation) or MBT-70 (American Designation) it was a part of the Next Gen MBT program that was supposed to replace the aging West German Leopard 1 and the American M60 tanks. However the program would fall through with neither country adopting the tank. Why I chose to Model it: I just like how it looks and I play a lot of War Thunder (a game about Tanks) and this is one of my favorite tanks in the game. Also because I was bored and wanted something to do so I just made this it took me about 20 hours total to make and the explosion effect was a very new "concept" for me to learn so it was a little difficult to figure out.
