eep I forgot to post this here My plan is to alternate between other 'tobers' I find if I don't like the ink one too much (and to try to do at least 8 days to keep with the doubling my output every year XD) So for day one, the inktober was mustache which I was NOT doing, so I ran with FeatherDraws14's on DA: - Sweater weather - I've said before this guy would wear cozy socks so now he's got a sweater XD - Weave - Back to ink - Played around with a vague concept for the fire god I've been building :) - He just wants things to be perfect - Crown - Fairly mild blood & death warning - yippeeeeeee - Lore on that random shapeshifting dragon that turns into Anasazi?? (That.. y'all don't know about XD) - noooooooooo... - I love designing crowns so much kafbab - Murky - WOW it's dark on this monitor XD - Guess it fits the theme though *wheeze* - Design by Sigmanax on DA! - so perdy but so detailed hehe XD - Deer - wow look at my deer - freshwater god - getting the background colors right took an age and a half ;-; - Pierce - Minor blood warning - WOOOOOAAAHHH HUGE WORLD LORE JUST DROPPED - she's looking a little crispy, I wonder what that could mean *waggles eyebrows mischievously* - Ocean goddess just appeared, woh - Designing her was only mildly tricky :) In love with her palette :D - Starfish - an excuse to draw this guy? - Yes please - so many fish.. - Reckless - Only thing I could think of XD - We've officially doubled from last year! - Twin - Inktober was heavy... nah - CrrowKnight's on DA (they canceled it literally today though XD) - Beans! - I should probably use krita's textures more.. only problem is that they're tiny on my giant canvases XD - Color palette - Back with one of Feather's, she has two days that are just color palettes! - Committed too hard to a contest entry so this is a bit later in the day XD - Shapeshifting dragon concept art, whooppeeeee! - Sting - Teeensy bit of blood - yay betrayal - Idea was kinda "stings doesn't it?" or the sting of betrayal - .. wow that background's dark - it looks so cinematic - Shredded - Carcass because his wings are ripped - Is that a bit of a stretch? Maybe - Moth - Feather again - day late :( Today's is coming tomorrow, too - didn't have ideas for drink so I played around with a moths to the flame idea with my more morally (at least) grey characters and some random moths I found googling "moths" XD - Trunk - LATE, point and laugh - we got some trees :) - Shading the gift of light was so fun T^T - Ragged - Probably would've fit shredded better but I only thought of it now XD - yay all caught up again - Blunder - Yay, more Harbinger chess symbolism - Ornate - wow - Quick & simple one - Kinda combined with FeatherDraws14's twilight/stars :) - Deal - Is it kind of lazy? - Yes - Did the hands still take way too long? - Yes - Arctic - hggggghhhhhhh- - Was gonna just do a quick shot with Shard but decided I wasn't feeling up to lineart and I was gonna do some background practice - then I decided to try painting it - This took all day XD - it's so pretty though, this brush is awesome <3 - Rival - Laaaaaaaate - Had to restart my laptop XD - Blast - WHOOOO HOOOO COLOR PALETTE DAY (FeatherDraws14) - Combined with normal inktober as well as I had a vision XD - yippee concept art - Button - Push button receive bacon - Firefly - Latetober - Eyebowl - Wanted to try rendering an eye for once, I think it mostly worked :) - Rainy - Back with another of Feather's prompts as I didn't have anything for rowdy XD - If anyone remembers Agathina, this guy was also intended for that ota haha - Stylized (used a different brush and didn't set it to overlay) the rian a bit more, yay - Inferno - When you redrew the claws but they got covered up by the fire anyway... - Late cause we went somewhere over the weekend - More painting practice :) - I used a second painty brush this time :D - The foreshortening is probably not correct, I just worked it out until it looked alright XD - Skeletal - Better with higher screen brightness XD - I might skip the inktobers I missed over the weekend, I have too many other things I need to do... - Tried to make it kind of look like he was in a cave and messed around with more brushes for lighting :) v
ran out of room :( - Lesson - eeeeheheheeee - The single greatest moment in WoF ;) - I want to turn it into a tradition to draw Whirlpool's death every october - Two years ago I did it for golden :) (I know what everyone would be drawing if that were one of this year's prompts... XD) - This took surprisingly long.. I've been trying to keep these short so I can do other things but I keep committing too much time into them - The head took forever to get looking right for some reason.. - I included his rings this time.. where I could (fricking webbing is so annoying) - It's a biiit of a stretch for the theme, I mostly connected the face that he teaches Anemone XD Art & code by yours truly
