This had been led up to for so long, since April Fools 2024 with its TheWare thumbnail, and I'm real happy with this one. When so much of ThinkWare has been pretty sentimental to me, this layers on more of it just nicely. Some people may recall I'm not always the fondest of boss microgames, but I sure had fun with this one! Anyway, here's a rundown of the boss microgame: The object of the microgame is to dodge all of the passersby as Gobo by switching between the two lanes. As the microgame progresses, it gets faster, and the passersby wind up closer. Upon passing everyone, the microgame ends in a win. Bumping into anyone results in an explosion, ending the microgame in a loss. - Level 1: The walk takes place on a road surrounded by grass and trees. There are 30 passersby in total. About half of the beings are Scratch cats which move ordinarily at the same speed. About a third of the beings are Gigas who start fast and slow down. The remaining beings are Picos who jump constantly but otherwise move at the same speed. There's a rare chance for passersby to switch lanes. - Level 2: The walk takes place on a dirt path surrounded by dead grass and trees. There are 45 passersby in total. Compared to Level 1, there are slightly more Picos. There are now Nanos who walk back and forth. There is a slightly higher chance for passersby to switch lanes. - Level 3: The walk takes place on a floating road in the sky surrounded by clouds. There are 60 passersby in total. Compared to Level 2, there are slightly less Scratch Cats, and more Picos and Nanos. There are now Teras who emerge from the bottom of the screen and land upon the path. There is a high chance for passersby to switch lanes, and a rare chance for them to switch twice. [BEGIN DEVELOPER NOTE] = ASSETS = Besides the commands and stuff, this microgame has 69 costumes and 3 backdrop. It's definitely a lot, but I felt it's okay to set aside this much for a boss. Plus, most of it's honestly because of the losing animation. = INTEGRATION = Because this is the boss microgame for ThinkWare, I am not explaining how to port this. I know how to do it myself.
