okay so the up (ew) added smoke deflectors to 4014 besides the fact they said they wouldn't now most people don't have a problem with it somehow but this change really triggers me yeah it may look cool but it doesn't matter all the big boys had better and more efficient deflectors on the funnels the deflectors on it were tried on 4019 but it was said that the big boy was too long and too powerful to need them meaning it blocks visibility and it's a pointless change plus the funnel deflectors look SO much better also the funnel deflectors were a standard on up locomotives even the 9000 had them the funnel deflectors are also adjustable which makes it even better did i mention the deflectors are a safety hazard?
