Welp, after much consideration, I've decided to call it quits here, I started on scratch to work on my own fangame inspired by the Mega Man series, which I ultimately decided would be a one-man job, and for a while, I was doing pretty good, I designed tilesets, coded bosses, and even made music, but... fate would catch up to me eventually, I lost motivation to work my project over time, until I was pretty much doing nothing for months on end. I realized I was doing too much. Two sets of robot masters, two castles, extra levels, mini bosses, tons of music and coding that I wasn't cut out for... the one-man-band idea was a poor choice, but I only did so because I wanted my game to look and function exactly as I personally liked, I wasn't a fan of the standard for fangames, it was all "over done" If you asked me, flashy fights with a thousand frames per movement, over the top music, levels with awful color palettes, and impossibly difficult boss fights in the name of "old video games are supposed to be hard" I just wanted to show my vision of how a proper fan game should be: it should be more grounded to how a game on an NES would be, simpler, yet catchy music, sensible color palettes, limited frames per movement, and bosses that though not easy, won't chew you up, spit you out, and stomp your face in the pavement. But, in the end, it was all for nothing, a brief window into what could've been, an even though it's not impossible to continue working on my project, I still have a kind of busy life, plus, there really aren't that many users on Scratch since they breathed the word "AI", so not too many people would end up seeing my stuff and appreciating it for what it is the way how "they" would. So here we are now, stalled like a car in the snow, unable to move forward, but I can move on... my fangame, "Mega Man: Curse Of the Phantasm" is officially cancelled
I thank all of my followers and supporters who helped me through my 2 busy years on here, I really appreciate it, and if you have any desired projects of your own that you wanna make, don't you stop at anything to make it happen, make me proud...
