-ALPHA: THE BEGINNING- -CHAPTER ONE Ivan Steel’s home Laboratory, Gros Ventre Wilderness, WY Where am I? Who am I? What is this place? Several ideas zoom through my mind, but none of them seem likely enough to assume it as truth. But I didn't have enough time to figure it out, the glass tube I was in started to drain the greenish liquid holding me afloat. I looked out past the glass and saw a man with black hair and a jet black lab coat, grinning. The liquid finished draining and the glass lifted. “Welcome to the world! You are A-1, my latest and greatest creation.” he said. “So you are my creator?” I asked him. “Yes I am, I will also be your master, you will do exactly what I say, when I say it, am I understood?” “Yes sir.” “Good.” His smile never left him, it was odd, but I wasn't in any place to speak, I was still in the capsule. “Now,” he said, “These will protect your hands and feet.” He held out a pair of cool looking shoes, with a yellow trim, and a pair of white gloves, with black cuffs. I stepped out of the capsule and grabbed them from him. “Thank you.” I said. “Your welcome A-1.” “Now I will show you around.” He waited for me to slip the shoes and gloves on before leading me out of the room and up a staircase, which led to a large living room with a large black screen and a couch. He led me further through the large, yet mostly barren, house to a room with a large metal door. He quickly unlocked it and led me in, “This will be your room.” he said, “I know it’s not much but it should accommodate your needs.” With that he left and closed the door behind him, and the clicking sound that came after that told me he had locked me in, he didn’t trust me, but why? I decided there was no use staring at the locked door, so I looked around the room to see what he meant by “Not much”. The room had a small black screen like the one in the living room, a small empty fridge and a small bed with a pillow. Yep, definitely not much. I sat on the bed and pondered why he made me, I didn’t get far before I became bored and tried the door which, of course, didn’t open. My boredom soon turned to anger, so I picked up the pillow from the bed and threw it as hard as I could at the door which, to my surprise this time, flew through a gold outlined black hole in the door which closed just as the pillow went through. “Woah” did I do that? I try again this time with the fridge, which I discovered I could lift with ease, to find the same results. Now I tried just stretching my hand out and imagining the portal opening, which worked, I stepped through the portal. Now on the other side of the door I closed the portal and walked back to the living room where, through a window, I had seen a strange green world. When I reached the living room I opened a portal through the window and jumped through, I landed in a dense group of these tall green things. What is this place?
