I started producing a dnb track and it turned into emo rock... This is essentially a flip of '12 to 12' by sombr, though I pretty much just sampled a few vocal hooks from the track. This was really a random song I threw together from a random artist and song I never heard. I threw in some other more /familiar/ vocals as well, just for kicks. This track was inspired by various electronic and indie artists. I haven’t done a whole lot of rock productions, but I think this one turned out quite good. I did all the rock drum programming myself, which surprisingly turned out to my liking. Also, I didn't duck the instruments to any of the drums as I usually do for electronic music. As I understand, it is common practice (especially for hyperpop) to eliminate the sidechain, apply a high pass filter to the drums ~100 Hz, and overcompress the master (someone fact check this). Track length: 3:31 Tempo: 163 bpm Key: Bbmaj DAW used: Garageband Genre: Hyperpop / Drum & bass / Emo / Alternative / Fusion / Experimental / Rock Listen on Soundcloud! https://soundcloud.com/outcastle/in-a-room-full-of-people I do not own these vocals!
