Recommended that you play on turbowarp https://turbowarp.org/1225708552 READ the instructions below or I promise you, you won't understand ANYTHING. (every level after level 19 assumes you read all the instructions and is ready to be challenged) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Press Space to Switch Levels! Press R to Reset Character. Press R and 1 simultaneously to lose all hp and die Press G to switch skins (No more new skins). Press E to randomly change the music. Press H to turn off/on shadows to reduce lag Arrow Keys to Move. Z key to jump. X Key to Attack. C key to Throw. V Key to Dodge. Down Arrow to crouch (you can move while crouching) You can also wall slide, and bounce off a wall (walljump) by jumping. Tele-Orbs are those white balls floating... You can collect them to be able to perform a ranged attack. Max you can get is 3. Without them you cannot perform ranged attacks. Your Cleaver can also collect them too. Press C to aim a ranged attack. You can aim in all 8 directions using the arrow keys. If you fail to choose any direction in 5 seconds, the aiming cancels. Press the X key to cancel your aim either way. Press the C key to throw your cleaver into the direction you were holding the arrow keys in. -Cleaver hits a wall: Rebound; will bounce off but won't always get back to you if you're pretty far. Will give knockback IF it comes back to you. -Cleaver hits an enemy: Attack. It will come back to you like a boomerang. Will give knockback. -Cleaver doesn't touch any enemy: Teleportation. You teleport to your cleaver. No matter if it rebounded or not, if it doesn't go back to Machika and it hasnt hit an enemy than it will trigger teleportation. -Press X When the Cleaver is present (still in air/thrown) to bring it back quick. If it doesnt come back in 5 seconds it'll come back to you automatically. It comes back QUICKLY, and can hurt enemies also, so this is good for bringing the cleaver back quick and hurting enemies that are right next to you when you cant move. Also to bring it back if you dont wanna waste a tele-orb teleporting on accident. Tele-Crystals are like little relays... Throw your Cleaver at them to redo a throw FROM the Crystals! You can rethrow at any direction. It can stack with more Tele-Crystals! V – Dodge in place Briefly become invincible by standing your ground. Dodge 3 times (after dodging one time succesfully, dodge again within 2 seconds to start the count) succesfully in 6 seconds for a tele-orb. Missing dodge, getting hit, New level, or the timer running out resets the count. ↓ + V – Roll Roll forward to reposition or slip through danger. If you hold the down arrow before going through a small crevice than roll, it´ll be faster than you letting go of it once under it and rolling. Basically always hold the down arrow for faster rolls before going under something. u can also wallhop when rolling, which resets ur roll length. Dodging rewards timing. Repeated successful dodges can build power. Combos: -Crouching+Jumping=Quick Jump -Crouching+WallSliding= Faster Wall Slide -Crouching+WallJumping= Quick Jump (Combine with consecutive wall jumping to wall jump much faster!) -Falling+Crouching= FastFall, Landing while Fastfalling causes a FastLand which is a ground attack (Cancelling your Fastfall mid-air cancels your FastLand) 1 second invincibility after landing it. X Key+Crouching= Block. Not blocking anything after the block ends puts your block cooldown at 3-4 seconds, while if you DID block something the cooldown goes to 1 seconds. This does 5 damage. Blocking an attack right away allows for a parry, which does a quick (cool) animation and attacks the enemy. This rewards you with a free tele-orb and does lets you do a spinning attack for a short amount of time, being able to move quicky and inflict good damage on the enemy. You can also jump in this spinning state. You get invincibility right after for 3 seconds, and your block cooldown goes to 4 (to prevent abusing) Mid-air + X key: Aerial Spin attack. Doing this turns your X velocity to 0 but pushes you a little bit off the air, which is kinda like a small double jump. You can use this to attack mid-air, and it stacks damage. You CANNOT wallslide when you do this, so use it to help as double jumps or attacking in the air. C Key + Mid-air: Dive. Diving gives no i-frames but its supposed to help evade attacks in the air, so its faster than running. Pressing X while diving does a Momentum Whirl, which will let you aerial spin as usual (which has i-frames) but lasts for only 0.5 seconds before Machika starts falling regularly. Note that THIS ENTIRE SECTION DOES NOT LET YOU MOVE. I mean it, so be careful diving! -You can cancel your basic slash attack by jumping/crouching.
The Test has finally gotten too big that 1. I can't open it on my chromebook, and 2. Assets start showing up as question marks. I'm doing too much man :( Lets finish this up. Just the win screen and I'm done! ----------------------------------------------------------------- Please give feedback for this test, I'd like to change stuff before the demo Agenda: Sata Andagi Skin (shhh), Mimic Entity, Extra Levels, Ui Revamp (Hp Bar, etc), and Win Screen [Final Lap] Danger Cloning (Spikes, Lava, etc) [Future Addition] Buttons [Future Addition] Dialogue [After the Test is Finished] Quick Time Events [After Test] Thanks to GriffPatch for helping out with 1/4th of player movement (solely the basics </3 and spawning) Everything else (except music of course) was either made by me or taken inspiration from various scripts in Homecome: Definitive Edition. Machika has only one eye and is in black and white for a reason. Also, the thumbnail shows redesigned versions of Machika, Mince, and Casty. These are the new redesigns but im not finished redesigning everyone yet :P PLAY HOMECOME DEFINITIVE EDITION AND ISLAND SHOWDOWN DEMO 2!!! BOTH ARE BIG INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS GAME!!
