Relith Station is a station located under thousands of feet of gas. It floats inside a gas giant; it is nearly impossible to find if you didn't already know it was there. Relith Station is owned by Terrapex BioEngineering, which works for the BlackSmith government on DNA testing and possible bioweapon construction. But there is a strict law in our nation; no changing the DNA coding of humans with any animals unless the program is greenlighted by our government. They just broke that law. Three breaching pods fly through the layers of the gas giant Quartis, dodging debris and storms. Lightning flashes all around them, but only faint blinks of light are seen through the thick gas. Their crews can hear the thunder rumble even from inside the pods. Through the dense fog, a circle of faint red lights blinks, meaning they are about to reach Relith Station. Through the windows of the station, it is clear that there was a scuffle; a shattered window still venting some air is seen. The thump of the breaching pod attaching jolts the crew back to their given task. They stand up in unison as the blast clamps break open an entry point into the station. They flood inside, each crew taking one side of the triangle-shaped station. They move quickly and with purpose, combing the hallways for any life. They walk past a blast door, which seems out of place; they will investigate further after the control room is taken. They see a person attempting to escape and hide, and they shout for him to stop moving. He freezes as they quickly move to him and clear any weapons. They take his key card. Over the radio, team 1 states that they have taken the control room and have locked down the station; no one is getting out. They caught them all successfully. After clearing out their section, eliminating anything seen as a possible threat, and sending workers to the control room, they circle back to the large blast door. They tell Team 1 over the radio to open the door. With a shudder, it slides upward, opening the chamber. As the door lifts, the Seals brandish their rifles, ready for a fight, but they quickly lower their weapons as they behold a hallway of human hybrids. Cats, dogs, and lizards, all horribly deformed. Humans with claws, ears, or feathers, mangled in ways that shouldn't be possible, yet still alive. But in the final and back corner, cell 134, a small female sits huddled in fear against the cell corner. She trembles, examining her closer, and they learn she is a 13-year-old female. She wimpers as tears of fear drip down her face. She is the only one who looks remotely normal, aside from the cat ears and tail. They radio back to team 1 that they have found the subjects. The seal, keeping his eyes on the girl as he does so. He asks what they should do with the subjects. The order is given. The station rattles and echoes eerily as gunfire rings out far away; the subjects are no more.
