Simple evolution simulation. Watch as the blobs learn to avoid your mouse pointer and adapt to a changing environment. Rules: -Stay alive by eating blobs and keeping hunger high. -Larger blobs give more hunger. -Press space to change the rules of the project. -Blobs have a genetic set of instructions which details their movement that they pass down to their offspring, occasionally mutating, for better or worse. -If you modify the genome length, restart the project -Blobs may also mutate their color, size, and brightness. -Some blobs will also hide their direction marker. -Over time, natural (or artificial) selection will leave only the fit to survive. -You can be a vicious hunter, or maybe try to domesticate them to make them easier to catch. Mainly a simulation, I just found natural selection worked better when there is a drive for the player to hunt the blobs.
