Please read this before signing up, as it contains important info! DOMESTIC HYBRIDS These are the offspring of a domestic cat and a wild cat. May be signed up as! If a hybrid has kits with a wild cat, the offspring may be the same species as one parent (ex. A caracal x Bengal cat pairing would yield caracal kits or Bengal kits, or both, but no mixes in order to avoid tribrids and such). This is up to the litter maker's discretion and will not be controlled by spinning. Domestic hybrids are twice as likely to be kiIIed or captured during events/rescue parties, so be careful REGULAR HYBRIDS The offspring of two wild cats. May not be signed up as. These hybrids may only result from two different wild cats IRP becoming mates and one of the parents hosting an open litter. If you'd like to have a regular hybrid you must apply for an open litter SPIRIT HYBRIDS These are where it gets interesting. Spirit hybrids are those mysterious mixes between a big cat and a wild cat. They may not be signed up as! Every Wednesday I will spin a wheel which will give a 1/20 chance of landing on 'yes', which will mean someone gets a spirit hybrid! I'll spin three times, so there's a low chance of 1-3 hybrids. I will post whether the spin yielded any hybrids and how many, and users with no spirit hybrids may reply to indicate they're putting themselves in the draw to get one! That Tuesday or Wednesday (depending on how busy I am), I will put everyone's names in a wheel and spin to see who gets the hybrid(s). I will then spin a 1/50 wheel to see if any of the hybrids received will be ethereal hybrids, those blessed with a fantastical power. If someone gets an ethereal hybrid they will be allowed to choose from a list of powers which will aid them in their mission to fight the humans. Additionally, when someone is planning to host a litter, I will ask how many kits they are making and spin the 1/50 wheel to give each a chance of being a spirit hybrid. If one is, I will spin again for ethereal. The litter host can choose to opt out of this if they don't want the stress of having a spirit/ethereal hybrid kit that people will likely want and apply for EVENTS Spirit hybrid event - already explained Danger events - Every Wednesday I will spin a wheel for each Clan to see if a Danger will occur. The Dangers are: captured for pet trade, kiIIed for pelt trade, starvation. And for spirit hybrids, captured for circus, captured for roadside zoo, captured for pet trade, kiIIed for pelt trade, starvation or poached. If the spin lands on a Danger I will notify the RP and put all applicable cats of that Clan on the wheel (kits are not applicable) to see who gets it and will notify the owner of that character. If captured, a cat gets three escape attempts, each one spun on a wheel w/ a 1/10 chance of success. In addition, Clans are obligated to organize rescue parties for their members, composed of 3-5 cats. The captive gets three chances for the rescue to succeed, and the rescue parties get a 50/50 chance of succeeding. However, there is a 1/5 chance of one of the cats in the party experiencing a Danger! If all escape and rescue attempts fail, the captive wild cat will die and be wiped from the RP
