BLESSINGS & CURSES ☆ Previously removed, the Curse/Blessing System is now being brought back after new review and evaluation of decisions made by the past team! ★ Blessings and curses are both rolled for at birth for any children with parents who are either blessed/cursed or carry the gene. ★ The roll decides whether the character will have it, not have it, or not have it but carry the "gene" to pass down the roll chance to their children (both biological and adoptive). ★ All blessings/curses must be APPROVED by a CEO before being implemented. BLESSINGS 1. Blessed cats get a minor power/ability — usually based on their personality — granted by StarClan to help improve their lives. 2. They cannot go to the Dark Forest, no matter what they do in life, and members of the Dark Forest barely have any effect on them. 3. They can detect those who relate to StarClan, such as other blessed cats. 4. Their blessings do not affect those who are cursed. 5. They have higher chances of succeeding in games of luck and hunting. 6. They never have nightmares. CURSES ★ Cursed cats receive a curse given to them by the dark forest to make their life harder/more inconvenient. ★ They cannot go to StarClan, no matter what they do in life, and members of StarClan barely have any effect over them. ★ They can detect those who are related to the Dark Forest in some way, such as Dark Forest trainees, but find themselves unable to point it out loud. ★ They have increased bad luck in their daily lives. ★ Whenever they sleep, they either have nightmares or find themselves in the Dark Forest. Then the approvers look at the list of current cats, decide if there are too many or not, and either approve/deny it based on the reasons given. ☆ BLESSINGS: your character's devotion to StarClan, why StarClan would watch over them more than other cats, etc. ☆ CURSES: why the Dark Forest would target your cat, DIFFERENT types of reasoning than Dark Forest trainee ones, since trainee reasoning is more "why would the Dark Forest want to make you one of them" when this is "why would the Dark Forest hate you", etc. ☆ Not every one of those reasons needs to be included, and people can make up other ones as well; these are just what's typically used. .
