Yo, It's Kabez. Not issac_the_scratcher, Kabez. So I've lost faith in Scratch ™ now. They started turning for-profit now, (at least from what I've heard,) and thus they're basically enshittening themselves. (Don't let them find out I can get away with that word.) To give you an example: They removed the remix tree. Like today. In addition they've been thinking about an AI assistant of sorts (they experimented with generative images but they've since fallen back on that idea) because that's how you get investors to notice you nowadays. I won't give a glance back at the past right now, just what I have planned next. (I'll save the glance back for when I actually do decide to leave.) When I do decide to leave, there will be 2 things I want to get done. Emerald OS, and "the history of scratch, i guess" Emerald OS is the collaborative project i'm doing right now, and so far it's been going fine. I plan to be there for the full time they have left, so I will be pretty active on the project when I feel like it. "the history of scratch, i guess" has actually been planned for a while, with the first version (made up to the "before the release of 1.0" section) made in mid 2023 and the second one (that didn't get far at all) in like late 2024. This will be my last solo project if I ever get into leaving. Keep in mind I will still probably be using Scratch ™ the programming environment long after I leave the site. I will just not interact with the social aspect of Scratch ™. Once I get an actual computer instead of being stuck in this Chromebook though, I will probably start messing around with GameMaker or something. In conclusion, Scratch ™ is bad now, i guess. If you want to find me on other socials you can check the about me project on my profile for vague descriptions of where I might be. (Scratch ™ is meant for all ages after all so you kinda have to be picky when it comes to bypassing the filter.) I'll see you when I decide to do it. or maybe this may all be useless and i'll catch the @Unoriginal_Fox curse lol Music is from Spongebob Squarepants: SuperSponge by Climax Group and THQ (been loving that game's soundtrack lately.) #rant
