please note this is a concept, i am not related to mojang studios in any way, or any people who mod the game. i got some ideas here and there, slapped it together, changed a bit of stuff and it became this!!
minecraft sword recipe, but -1 diamond (material like iron has to be sharded) swifter slashes in exchange for -3 damage from the base damage of the sword counterpart. added 1/2 heart of damage ex, wooden sword does 4 dmg, dagger does 1 and 1/2 dmg the wingdings translate to a message you can pick locked storage blocks in exchange for a bit of durability loss, allowing you to access the contents. since it's a dagger, it has less range than the sword, but can do massive damage if striking exposed parts not covered by armor. you can also throw it, the projectile will work similarly to a trident, but higher damage, higher range, less hitbox and great durability loss upon pickup, especially if the blade landed on a hard surface (ex: obsidian) enchantments for dagger Boomerang- allows the dagger to rebound back to its target with smaller durability loss, before returning back to the player who threw it. level of boomerang=number of rebounds (eg; Boomerang III means 3 rebounds). max boomerang level is 5. each rebound will always deal 2 hearts per strike, regardless of enchantments or material. you can block the knife like a shield, knocking it to the ground and canceling the attack Thieves' Glory- better loot table when lockpicking from structure chests (they finna be locked now 50% of the time), small chance to have faster lockpicking Sharpness V2- slower swings, but more damage from bleeding, max lvl is 3, with a total of 3 and 1/2 hearts damage, cooldown of 2 seconds to get sharded version of ores, you need to use the breaker block (furnace+sticky piston+anvil in crafting table), fuel the breaker then put the ore you wanna crush into the other slot Fountains of Darkness (woah deltarune?? yes.) you get to create small dark fountains (max of 2), allowing you to fast travel between fountains. this is for the darkshard version of the dagger, which you get the shards from mining ores found inside end islands, in numbers slightly larger than ancient debris. can be mined with iron-netherite, enchanted with silk touch. ore form drops, smelt ore, get dark crystal, crush it to get sharded version, craft it how you would craft a dagger, but using twigs of the void, which you get from breaking corrupted trees, which now generate in the void beneath the bedrock layer :D Resistant Blade- can apply to any dagger variant, reduces damage and durability lost when parrying, max lvl of 2 you can parry attacks using the dagger, however you cannot block mace attacks (including the slam), powerful attacks and every projectile exept arrows, works similarly to the swordblock feature in old minecraft. if you try to parry a unparryable attack, damage will be reduced, but you lose durability depending on attack damage, and cannot use dagger for a few seconds. depending on the lock material, you may need a specific dagger to lockpick. stone lock- wooden and above, takes 2 seconds to open regular lock (iron), stone and above, takes 3.5 seconds to open obsidian lock, diamond and above, takes 4.5 seconds to open darkshard lock (darkshard knife, or a enchanted knife (unbreaking II diamond- netherite too) netherite, diamond and above, takes 9 seconds to open you can repair the dagger for lower materials in an anvil, or sharpen the dagger using the grindstone, depending on how many times you shapened the dagger, dagger deals an extra 1 heart (max), 1 sharpen equals +5 mins of the damage buff. (also applies to the throw attack and stuff) Raging Slashes (enchantment) high speed= low attack dmg but even faster swings and less cd slower swings equal more dmg but slower swings and cd than before. you do either version for a few seconds before you get slowness and mining fatigue for a 2 and 1/2 seconds. you can parry a person using this variant of attack to stun them momentarily. left click to swap between attack variants
