Run your very own aquatic food web. I'm sorry that this is an oversimplified version, but it's easier to understand. Mutations allows for natural selection (observe their colors), and a straightforward but engaging view of the natural underwater world provides attention to our beloved oceans. Click on the creature icons on the top to summon creatures, and press the bar graph icon to keep track of them. Then, when you're ready, press play to start it up. Creatures: Plankton - Tiny sea organisms that use sunlight and nutrients from the water for photosynthesis. On the surface, they release oxygen and are the base of the food chain. Krill - Representing shrimp, zooplankton, and more, they gobble up phytoplankton for food. They hunt these diatoms and reproduce with that energy. Herring - These small fish eat krill. They're something you'll recognize from your plate, but play as food for other sea creatures, too. Tuna - Big, fast, and delicious, these eat krill and herring alike. As predators, they hunt down these smaller fish, but are prey for the giant jaws themselves... Shark - You know them, they devour tuna with their fast growing teeth. While they may seem scary, less than 10 people die every year from them, and hunting them from fear, food, and other causes has made them an endangered species. Disclaimer: This is not an accurate source of the aquatic food chain. Elements of this simulation have been oversimplified and some cause and effects may not be present.
For the SDS DSD (Scratch Design Studio Deep Sea Dive) This doesn't really fall under any hashtag categories :(
