Deadline Countdown: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1239788356 Also, you can update your entry before the deadline. :) Also, hacked blocks are banned in this contest. You're allowed to require the player to manually go into the code to start the game, but 1 point will be taken off your entry if you do so.
DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 10TH In order to win this contest, your game needs to have the most points out of all the games. Games are judged in 3 categories: The Overall Game: 0 points: the game gets boring after 5 minutes or less. 1 point: the game gets boring after more than 5 minutes, but not more than a day. 2 points: you could play the game for days. 3 points: you could play the game for weeks. 4 points: you could play the game for months. Mobile Friendliness: 0 points: the game is impossible on mobile. 1 point: the game is extremely difficult on mobile. 2 points: the game is harder on mobile than on computer. 3 points: the game is just a bit tougher on mobile than on a computer. 4 points: the game is just as difficult on mobile as it is on computer. If the game is harder on computer than on mobile, then replace "mobile" with "computer" and "computer" with "mobile" on this category. Blocks: 0 points: the project has more than 10 blocks. 1 point: the project has 10 blocks. 2 points: the project has 9 blocks. 3 points: the project has 8 blocks. 4 points: the project has less than 8 blocks. For this contest, the number of blocks a project has is determined by Scratch's block count for the sprites and backdrops all added together. You can see the block count by right-clicking in the code area (not on the blocks/comments, though). A project is disqualified from this contest if it breaks any of Scratch's rules or if it can't be interacted with by human input. I want at least 3 judges for this contest to score the entries for this contest based on the scores for all 3 categories added together. For an entry game, the scores from the judges will be averaged for the final score. Hint: Maybe for this contest: you shouldn't put your game's content in the blocks. Inspired by Scratch codegolf challenges, low-block projects, and people doing stuff with less or something.
