I like the mix of textures in the sky, and the shading you did for the trees. Digital painting is fluffing hard so nice risk taking too :] If its your first time doing a digital landscape painting, I suggest trying to paint a sunny scene first (eg. Meadow). That way the sun is easy to see and its way easier to figure out lighting. Storms are hard-not only do u have rain to worry about but trying to figure out light sources? *SHIVERS* There are 2 points of your drawing that i think u could improve. -Overall palette -Shape choice Palette, the grey sky almost looks muddy bc the buildings are matching it. i think you should go darker with the buildings next time, it would contrast and strengthen the silhouette and the buildings wont get lost in the sky. Try squinting at the artwork and if u cant see the important shapes of it, then u got some colour work to do. This also applies to the shading stuff/layers which ill talk about later :> Shape choice, as in its a bit flat and could do with some exaggerated proportions. Its hard and takes a while to get a hang of (im still working on it) so i edited the art piece in project (click sprite/space). This has the layers thing as well ANYWAYS hope this helped!!
