Edit: I added songs for each character. Castor is Milk by Jack Stauber; Meridian is People Eater by Sodikken; Rosemary is Rises the Moon by Liana Flores It's coming up on a year since we've started talking, which is absolutely wild. Hello Urchin! I've been on a bit of a break lately, but I am still going to be your little cheerleader. It's coming up on a year since we've talked, which is absolutely wild. Congrats on hitting 800+ Urchin! I've really enjoyed your DTAs, as I keep saying, and I hope you keep doing them! I was going to mention that we first met because of an art trade I asked you for (or maybe the other way around?), but that's overdone in these intros of mine, so I'll not include it. I've been doing almost every one since 500+, which is about 300 from now!?!?!? Holy toletoes! Anyways, I'm still impressed with your designs and I hope you have a difficult time choosing as always! Here are my entries! FIrst is Castor (he/him), and I redrew him as of late. I imagine him to be a big "May I remind you who my father is?" type lad. Maybe his father is an important figure in Hivewing politics. I also like how I did the ears: It's a headcannon of mine that Leafwings have ears shaped like leaves, and that their frills are easily torn. I like the colors that Urchin picked out <333 I also gave him "loser" fingers. Going from my least to my favorite, this is Meridian (any/all), who I decided to make a bad kiddo. They're a trouble maker in a costal Rainwing settlement who goes around and causes havoc. Him and his sibling, Cuttlefish, love nothing more but to have Meridian distract someone woth their higher charisma while Cuttlefish uses their camoflouge scales to sneak up into trees and drop coconuts on them. As for why they don't have their left hind leg? It happened during... the incident... Another design thing I appreciate is the frills. I'm working on a chart of genetics based on dominant and rescessive traits based on tribe, and since I like the frills, that's a dominant trait. I also like to headcannon Rainwings as having more feathery or bendy frills. So i combined them! The frills are more feathery, like anneomies. Rosemary (she/they) is also very cool. They've lived in higher Icewing Nobitlily for most of their life, with their silkwing mother being a diplomat from the Leafsilk kingdom who was allowed to stay with an Icewing noble. Rosemary loves both of her parents very much, and is trying her best to make them proud of her. But with their strict views on what a good daughter can be, it makes things very difficult to express themselves. The way that Rosemary rebels against them: She attends ballet classes. One almost every week, juggled between their school and dinner parties they must attend. f I had these characters, I know what I would do with them! If I got Castor, I would devolop his actual relationship with his father vs. the things that everyone else in his life tells him about. I imagine he has a rather distant relationship with the man, but looks up to him because of smaller interactions. If I had Meridian, I would make a silly goofy story where Cuttlefish and him are going out on an adventure and encounter a silly pet crab and then do what I know as identity theft of a local ruler, and have a Despicable Me-level anti-heist to sneak the crab onto the throne. Al while exploring themes of not understanding why people do the things they do, how to stand up for yourself and how to undertand that not everything can be saved, and that is okay. If I were to get Rosemary, I would make a collection of short stories of her preparing for a ballet preformance and having to tell her parents what she's been up to, and dealing with the consequences of not communicating. She would also be a lesbian. A design thing I like about this one is the wings: I've been notoriously bad at silkwing wings since a billion bagels ago, but I think these ones look a-ok. Since they only have one pair of the silkwing wings instead of 2, I imagine it's a bit more difficult for her to fly. Omg cant wait till urchin responds <333
