Uhhhhh... You'll get it once you start reading my recordings. And yes, I will be recording and updating every Saturday. And this will go on for a while, because you know, there's only 1 Saturday a week. And every recording takes place on a Saturday (unless otherwise specified). Recordings: Any and every Saturday before October 18, 2025: Breakfast: Cereal. How much? 1 1/2 bowls. Milk in my cereal? Yes. How much? Approx. 1/2 a bowl. Drink: Coffee. How much? 1 cup. Add-in? Creamer. Result after breakfast: Good. October 18, 2025: Breakfast: Cereal. How much? 1 1/2 bowls. Milk in my cereal? Yes. How much? Approx. 1/2 a bowl. Drink: Coffee. How much? 1 cup. Add-in? Creamer. Result after breakfast: I seriously felt like crashing out. Between breakfast and lunch: I had a thin slice of pumpkin pie and some buttered popcorn. Result after eating snacks: I felt better. October 25, 2025: Breakfast: Cereal. How much? 1 bowl. Milk in my cereal? Yes. How much? Approx. 1/3 to 1/2 a bowl. Drink: Coffee. How much? 1 cup. Add-in? Creamer, but for whatever reason, I put in a little less than I usually do. Result after breakfast: My gut hurt and made me use the bathroom 3 times in the 2 1/2 hours I had been awake, I felt lightheaded, my head would throb whenever I would get up from sitting or laying down even though I didn't get up fast, and for a short moment, I took off my flannel because I was feeling warm even though winter is coming and it was cold. Lunch: Beef stew without rice, a teeny tiny slice of lasagna, and a banana. Result after lunch: I felt better. November 1, 2025: Breakfast: Cereal and toast with organic mango fruit spread (don't look at me, that's what the jar said). How much? 1/2 a bowl, 1 slice, I finished off my fruit spread. Milk in my cereal? Yes. How much? Approx. 1/3 a bowl. Drink: Coffee. How much? 1 cup. Add-in? Creamer. Result after breakfast: I felt just fine. Lunch: Ham and rice with some garlic salt. Result after lunch: I'm still feeling fine. November 8, 2025: Breakfast: Cereal and dry toast (no butter, jelly, etc). How much? 1 bowl, 1 slice. Milk in my cereal? Yes. How much? Approx. 1/3 - 1/2 bowl. Drink: Coffee. How much? 1 cup. Add-in? Creamer, but just a tiny bit less than I usually do for whatever reason. Result after breakfast: I felt "bleh" after the cereal, but I drowned out the "bl" with the toast, so then I just felt "eh". Lunch: Tuna and rice with some garlic salt. Result after lunch: Back to normal. November 15, 2025: Breakfast: Cereal. How much? 1 bowl. Milk in my cereal? No (because we were out). Drink: Water (because I didn't have time for coffee). Result after breakfast: Fine, and then my gut hurt a bit, and then I think that pain just ended up in hunger because lunch was starting to get late. I had a hard time paying attention because I was working. Lunch: 1 scrambled egg, 1 slice of white toast (buttered), 1 piece of bacon, and a little bit of hash browns (from work). Result after lunch: Good. November 22, 2025: Breakfast: Cereal and pop-tarts. How much? 1/2 a bowl and 1 pack (2 pastries in 1 pack). Milk in my cereal? No. Drink: Coffee. How much? 1 cup. Add-in? No, I had the first few sips black, and then yes, creamer. Result after breakfast: Eh, but not to bad. Lunch: Spaghetti-O's with macaroni noodles and tortellini. I wanted to throw up with each tortellini I ate (trauma from early this year). Result after lunch: Just fine. November 29, 2025: Breakfast: Cereal. How much? 1 1/2 bowls. Milk in my cereal? Yes. How much? Approx. 1/3 to 1/2 a bowl. Drink: Water. How much? 1 cup. Result after breakfast: Eh, but it didn't last too long. Lunch: Little Caesar's Pizza. Result after lunch: Good, especially saying I had breakfast early and was starting to get kinda hungry. Friday, December 5, 2025: Breakfast: Cereal. How much? 1 1/3 bowls. Milk in my cereal? Yes. How much? Approx. 1/2 a bowl. Drink: Water. How much? 1 cup. Result after breakfast: Tired. But I think that's more due to not being able to fall asleep till later the night before and having to wake up early that morning for work. So, I don't really think I can blame it on breakfast. Unless the sugar intake helped with the sleepiness? Lunch: 2 over-medium eggs, a pack of trail mix, and a granola bar. Result after lunch: Still kind of hungry, but other than that, I was fine. December 6, 2025: Breakfast: Spam, egg, and toast with butter. How much? 2 slices, 1 failed over-medium, and 2 slices. Drink: Coffee and chocolate milk. How much? 1 cup and 1/2 a cup. Add-in (to the coffee)? Milk and sugar (I ran out of creamer). Result after breakfast: I felt like I might have had a little too much to eat, but other than that, I was fine. Lunch: Skipped (due to breakfast being kind of late). Dinner: Tuna and rice with some garlic salt and some leftover stuffing from Thanksgiving. Result after dinner: Fine, and glad that my hunger had finally been satisfied. Results: Tbh idk. Did my stomach just hate cereal those 2 days?
Note 1: Yes, cereal is my family's Saturday breakfast. Don't judge. But for this experiment, I'm going to be changing, switching, mixing, and matching things up. Note 2: My dad thinks I might be developing a sensitivity to sugar. Yes, if I had to choose savory or sweet, I'd choose savory, but I don't want to be SENSITIVE to sugar! Note 3 (December 6, 2025, section "Add-in"): Long story short, even though there is actually a ton of coffee creamer in the fridge, I can't have the generic kind because it's got (surprise!) vegetable oil in it, which hurts my stomach, so I need the dairy based creamer. Otherwise, I have to opt out for anything else.
