Over a year irp after becoming Shadowclan's leader, Weaselstar finds four kits hidden away in a half-rotted stump, the children of him and an npc surrogate. He takes these kits back to Shadowclan, raising them in the solitude of the leaders den. Two raised to be heirs, two left in the shadows of their siblings destiny... As we get into this litter, I must inform you all that this litter contains some negative parenting styles that will affect the way the kits are raised. A lot of Weaselstar's parenting tactics this time around are rooted in immense favoritism, high expectations, and controlling behavior. In the case of the two youngest kits in this litter, you will also see themes of detachment/disinterest. Please keep this in mind as you apply and research it's impact accordingly. ⋆.˚ ☾ .⭒˚ Rules: - Be sure to abide by TFCRP's general rules as well as the rules for this litter! - The use of AI to any degree in your application is very much prohibited! If you are found to have used AI, you will not be able to win the kit you're applying for and you will be blacklisted from any future litter of mine. - Do not harass or guilt trip any other applicants! - Any form of bigotry or hate will not be tolerated - If you win a kit, please try and keep them alive for a minimum of 25 moons! Mongoosekit / AMAB / 13.5 inches / eldest / designed by @_CinnamonCat_ at his fully grown height, mongoose holds the height of a towering 13.5" inches tall, making him the tallest of his littermates. his face hold two mismatched eyes, one an emerald green and the other a striking yellow. long, thick fur hugs his cheeks and spreads across to right before his tail. his dark chocolate colored fur is streaked with a mix of peanut-butter brown and raven black across his back, dark swirls spiraling around his front legs. the tip of his paws are splattered in a light creamed brown, matching the top of his ears. his chest and belly share this same color, yet a distinctive diamond-like pattern sets it apart from the rest of his fur. the same diamonds can be found stretching across his long tail, ending just before the fluffed tip. [ written by ] Wolverinekit / AFAB / 9.5 inches / second eldest / preclaimed by / designed by Standing at 9.5” when fully grown, Wolverinekit’s pelt matches her namesake, a mix of sandy and dark brown spilling across her fur. Her legs are entirely dark, contrasting with the stripe of brown running across her middle. Her chest fur takes on similar colouration, with a splash of pale brown breaking up the darkness. A line of sandy brown stretches from her bobtail across to her front legs, almost like a lightning strike. Her muzzle is the same extraordinarily dark brown, a slightly darker sandy colour tinging the tips of her spiky fur. A single strand of deep brown fur hangs from the top of her head, not quite reaching her brown eyes. Marmot is a dilute fawn/light lilac coated cinnamon shaded she-cat, bearing warm, and remarkably mellow and dark hazel/orange eyes. She has a cream underbelly, stretching along her front and back legs in a ‘sock-like’ formation down her hindquarters. She is adorned with various speckles that shape unevenly around her cheeks and lower eyelids forming into a shape similar to that as a mask, with a darker brown spot landing at the base of her nose, an extra splotch lays below in a messy shape. [cont] Meet the parent! Weaselstar - father / dad / papa / As the current leader of Shadowclan, Weaselstar will be a very busy cat. He will remain present by the kits sides constantly until they can walk and talk, but after that, he will be gone for long stretches of the night, attending to his duties and leading the clan. It's not like he wants to be away from his kits so often, but the clan needs him to be a present leader, so off he goes. While he will try his best to be kind and involved in his kits lives, his parenting style is divided, as can be seen in the project with more extensive details I provided below. He puts immense pressure and expectations on his eldest children, aka his 'heirs', while the youngest two get left behind in the shadows, their father's back turned. In addition, please read this parenting style project! I cannot stress enough that it's incredibly important the way these kits are raised.
