(sorry if you're not able to read the backstory, so here it is) (also edited a few things): Emma, as an only child, longed for someone to play with, to share secrets with, to have someone have her back. Being lonely, she was miserable at her school. One afternoon, Emma finally told her parents about how she felt about school. It took a lot of persuading, but her parents were convinced into registering her into a new school that summer. Emma was finally happy and she wasn't lonely anymore, with her friends there like siblings.
