I discussed a lot of the storyline with Ckrp concerning how the Kikoko_ Industries Factory map should look like to fit that storyline, and this is the result. It takes a lot of the story and ideas we already had, but you'll also notice a lot is new. The goal is to keep it as close as possible to the og map, but a few extra areas will be added or changed. INSTRUCTIONS: Click on anywhere with a large dot to see the information. Space to close. Red dots mark areas especially important to the animation. If you want anything changed/added, pls let Ckrp (or me, since I have the map project and I can ask Ckrp) know! NEW PARTS TO THE STORY: The heroes will cause a major distraction by sending small, armed drill bots underground to attack and blast apart the control rods in the nuclear reactor basement. Most modern AIs need nuclear power plants to fuel them, so it makes sense our top AI-combat bot factory needs one. The factory will be designed to contain the disaster, but it'll still be more than enough of a distraction to keep the hacked bots checking down below for an intrusion instead of UP where the actual attack comes from. It also explains why the basement is a molten rocky mess now. The semi-space ship is the vehicle from which the heroes approach and attack. Thanks to the extreme altitudes at which the ship flies and the reactor explosion, they will get extremely close before being detected. A short skirmish occurs, and the ship is shot down. From there, they blast into the factory and split up. Most of the good technicians were captured during the original takeover, so the entire factory can't just be bombed. One hero group will take to the vents and rescue these technicians. The technicians will grab miscellaneous tech from the storage room crates and design rooms, and fight from the sidelines with random gadgets. They'll add to the chaos and be a major factor helping the good bots, but will never join in direct combat. The main force of good bots will storm the storage room and hold a battle royale there as an additional distraction for the rescue team - and the third group. The third group also takes to the vents and sneaks into the control room, an added major room attached to the storage warehouse. There, they will have to take down the newest and strongest bot of them all, Metalor, in a sort of final boss fight before quickly hacking and destroying the system to save the other two teams. The system is the primary weakness, as all of the newer bots are linked with a single hive-mind to work as a uniform lethal force. For this reason, it makes them vulnerable in this central area, and it is the reason individual unspecified types of hacked bots will be called Hornets. COSTUME DESIGNER NOTES: As you can easily see, a lot of the rooms are pretty small on my map. They're also designed to be 2D. Naturally, that was good for the RD game. But we're trying to make this more realistic and fitting irl. A two-table cafeteria, for example, is ridiculous for a top-of-the-world AI-combat droid factory. So most rooms, if not every room, will have to be enlarged in the animation!
