Hi. Wow, it’s almost been a year since my last update. That’s wild. I don’t even know why I opened up Scratch again to be honest. I think I was just wanted some nostalgia. To be honest, I doubt anyone will read this. But they say writing out your thoughts is healthy, so why not do it here? I think I’m done with Scratch indefinitely. It was fun while it lasted, but too much changed. Too much about me changed. It’s fun to look back on my old art and see how much I’ve improved. This account is like a time capsule of me from middle school. It’s fascinating. There’s not much I can say that wasn’t already said in the previous update. I got disinterested, my mental health tanked, I moved on to new things. Only difference now is that I’m a little older, a little wiser, and working on new things. I think my main inspiration behind this was seeing some adorable animations of Boo from what would’ve become A Broken Throne. I saw people drawing my character, animating her, and was just filled with love. I don’t know if I ever mentioned this, but Boo is real. She’s a mischievous little kitty of the same name. She’s not a dragon, she’s missing a tail, and her eyes aren’t blue, but it’s close enough. I can’t believe there were people who did anything with a character based off my cat. My little Boo. But I love that. If you want a picture of the real Boo, click the flag. It should start switching between the piece of art and a silly photo of her. This will probably be my last post ever on Scratch. I won’t delete the account, but it’ll certainly remain untouched forever. I’ll update my profile just so there’s no misinformation and be done with it. If anyone ever sees this, hi. I’m shocked you’re here. Thanks for being here, but I’m sorry you showed up on my last post. I’m sure it’ll be interesting to read through the thought process of what was at the time a confused, awkward middle schooler and what they enjoyed doing. Goodbye. Thanks for everything, Scratch, and everyone on it.
The art piece is of characters from a work-in-progress WEBTOON of mine, Jinx and Whisper. StrawThatBends, 2025
