I decided to give Stripes's (now Maia) design a small upgrade and give my OC a bit of backstory. Working on Jimmy (bear in the thumbnail) next! These are likely to change as I expand on the lore. Maia: She was an ordinary, newly-born tiger cub who was unfortunately caught in the crash site of a falling black star. The explosion would have killed her had not a fragment of the star fused itself to her tail and strangely kept her alive. This mutated her body and gave her the ability to open a portal into another dimension she likes to call the abyss. Unbeknownst to her, the abyss is not as empty as it seems.
UPDATE: Thank you for all the name suggestions! They were really good, and it was a tough choice. I've renamed her Maia; thanks to @floof_bunny for the suggestion!
