Yep. You heard me. I’m not joking this time. I’d never think this day would come, but all great things must come to an end. I’m officially leaving this site effective immediately. I have grown to hate this site as of recently. I could rattle on for hours as to why, but I’ve already covered my issues with the spambots, the downright toxic community, and the inconsistently strict moderation in previous projects. Instead, I would like to thank a lot of the people who have supported and inspired me along the way. @gmandunn — You were one of my very first Scratch friends, and although we both have went our own ways over the years, I will always treasure the memories we have shared. @hred2010 - Oh man… Hred. You were also a very great friend of mine, but you left before I could say goodbye. If you’re reading this right now, thank you. @zachyboimaker — Like G, you were also one of my very first friends in this site, and we helped each other grow our skills in coding (even if you were a little bit stubborn about people remixing your projects in the early days!). @poyopalace — Thank you for helping revitalise my (cringy) Kirby self-insert into being a much better written character. He needed it badly. You have a great sense of humour, and the way you write your games has inspired me. @kirbyfan767 — Thank you for being an awesome friend, Nix. In the short time that I created fight collab animations, your style greatly influenced me. @CodeKirby — First of all, I’m really sorry for never crediting you for your vectors in my early years. I was naïve and that was stupid of me. Secondly, thank you for being such a great inspiration and inviting me to work on CK: Prologue. Shout out to all my other friends and acquaintances too, like @-PikaRaphii-, @Camsmom9507, , , , , and any other people I follow. I’d like to close my final project with a little bit of good news, however. I may be leaving Scratch, but I’ll still be messing around in other places on the internet. As said previously, I won’t be disclosing where exactly. If you know who I am, you know where to find me. These past 9 years have been ones of curiosity, exploration and friendship. I might’ve overstayed my welcome a little, but I’d totally do this again from the top if I could. I’m going to really miss this place. Thank you all for sticking with me for this long. Elijah out, for the final time. See ya! <3
