Q: Is there a moment in his past that shaped who he is now? Darra: Well… When my mother and older sister disappeared, I started taking on most of the responsibilities and taking care of Raven. So I would say that has shaped a lot of who I am. Q: If Darra were dropped into a Zelda game, which one would he thrive in? Darra: Breath of the Wild! Q: Which Zelda character would he get along with best—or clash with? Darra: I would clash with Revali, that pompous, arrogant BRAT! Q: What drives Darra to keep going when things get tough? Darra: *traumatizing flashback sounds* (My sister Onyx almost burnt down our house before running away and my mother left to go look for her years ago and never returned. Q: Has he ever pushed his powers too far—and what happened? Darra: I tried staying awake all night practicing fighting techniques for a test I had the next day. It did not end well. Q: What’s something Darra does when he’s nervous? Darra: I fidget… a lot… I almost broke my hand doing it once… Q: Is he more of a leader or a lone wolf? Darra: Leader! Darra: I am AMAZING at hiding my emotions, and I have been ever since I’ve had to pretty much single-handedly raise Raven and myself. Q: Who challenges Darra the most, and how does he respond? Darra: My father. He challenges me the most by never being there. He challenges me to be stronger, so I can take care of my younger sister. Q: Is there someone he’s secretly protective of? Darra: I am (NOT secretly) VERY intensely protective of Raven, Crystal, Aurora, and Saphira. Q: What kind of people does he clash with? Darra: Egotistical, pompous, arrogant brats who think they own the world. Q: Would he be more comfortable in Gerudo Desert, Zora’s Domain, or Death Mountain? Darra: Zora’s Domain! Darra: On that one day… when I was having a mental breakdown because I was so stressed from taking care of Raven AND managing my studies… and she listened while everyone else called me crazy.
