I'm wondering if I could make the parasite one of the things people had to deal with during the Flood? The moderators would have still been banned, but during the short time-frame before the Flood an illegal experiment was conducted on the dead body of Mercy (died from a fight with Evasion. Reason will be unknown cuz that's a spoiler.) to try to revive him. While it did work, he felt unbearable pain and became aggressive for the short time when he was driven mad by said pain. This would have overlapped with the Flood. In this universe the Flood also locked people into the game and it happened during some kind of event that would've had a lot of players.
