Today I cured Sasha for colic! 1. I approached her cautiously, knowing some horses are very skittish with new people, so I didn't want to scare her. 2. I reached up to stroke her snout, and she didn't resist, so I knew I could move on to the examination. 3. I thoroughly examined her stomach area, abdomen, and back, searching for any abnormalities, and found no noticeable ones. 4. Preferring to be safe, rather than sorry, I injected her treatment, which she didn't seem to mind. 5. I carefully removed the needle, and she didn't flinch. 6. She turned around and I was wondering what she would do now. 7. I was very startled and my heart was touched when she nestled her head in the crook of my arm, showing affection. Ending Note: All of this goes to say that I would love to come back eventually and help Sasha if she needs anything else! Vet's Note: I would definitely like to come back again and make sure that everything is running smoothly and Sasha is feeling okay.
