Read le instructions before playing. Are you a big fan of math? No? well too bad cause this time you're fighting Four and X from JackNJellify's BFB. There's still silly song spells, but the battle system has changed once again. Make sure to play the previous fights! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1228470233 ^Tenna fight link Anyway, this is what has changed: Four got them... FOURty health hehe oh yeah uhh Niko got health buffed again. Turns are no longer timed! Instead, spells cost "tokens" to cast them. You gotta keep an eye on the token count when it's your turn though, because once you go zero or below, it's the enemy's turn. and yes, you can go BELOW zero. if that happens, the enemy gets extra tokens (for example, ending your turn on -2 tokens turns into an extra 2 tokens for the enemy, and so on). So consider the token cost when playing spells! (if you end turn on a decimal, the token count gets rounded first.) Token Cost: Scratch: 1 tokens if starting song is playing, 4 tokens otherwise (still does effect of whatever song is playing, so 4 tokens is a bargain!) fun fact: doing scratch 5 times while it costs 1 token each time is more cost effective than doing two TV Times! but Scratch only costs 1 token up until you play any of the song spells, so remember that. TV Time: (damage) 3 tokens Happy!: (defense buff) 2 tokens Close.: (defense debuff enemy) 2.5 tokens Pirouette: (random action) 3.5 tokens Party!: (nothing first turn, heals if used more times) 0 tokens if song is not already playing, 3 tokens if it is already playing. spell 0 has been buffed again! it heals more health now (which is... necessary. trust me.) certain songs no longer affect the enemy in certain ways (since Tenna is no longer the one you're fighting). instead, a new status effect has been introduced! specifically, "deafness". if a character is deaf, they cannot be affected by certain moves. for Niko, this is kind of bad because playing Happy! doesnt buff while he is deaf. if Four is deaf, TV Time! doesnt deal damage (but scratch's damage still works). if X is deaf, he cannot be debuffed by spell 3 (Close.). there's also some extra interactions when a character is deaf, but that'd be too much typing to put it all here so just try out the game and see it for yourself! (p.s., deafness is only bad for YOU, the player. so only the enemies can inflict it.) the enemies have a WHOLE new moveset. forgot to mention that lol. Four's moveset: 1: laser beam (damage), costs 2 tokens 2: screech (smaller damage, lowers happy, has 50% chance to inflict deafness on Niko), costs 2 tokens 3: chilling (restores two tokens), costs 1 token 4: Eternal Algebra. (deals 0.25 damage PER SECOND until either Four takes damage, OR if one of X's moves cause him to stop Eternal Algebra), sets token count to 0 and immediately ends turn. 5: deaf (Four goes deaf.), sets token count to 0 and immediately ends turn. X's moves: 1: cook a bad meal (slightly hurts Niko, heals Four [after hurting him a bit lol], costs 2 tokens 2: "X, do something!" (basically X's version of pirouette? he says 1 out of 4 phrases, 2 of them lowering Niko's happiness, 1 of them lowering happiness AND X's value, and the last one forfeiting X's turn and giving that turn to Four), costs 2 tokens 3: Recess! (increases X's value) 4: charcuterie board (lowers happiness, increases X's value, and increases Four's HP) 5: deaf (X goes deaf. how sad!) oh yeah, Four's value is the health and X's value is the defense. that's why X never gets hurt. (even when you win) MAJOR CHANGE: had to change "X's (Defense) Value" to "X's Value" because the words were too big
