This one is huge. The inclusion of new tiles may not seem like much, but it was an insane undertaking to make this. Press space to start. WASD and arrow keys for movement. Z swings the sword. Using it around the reddish tiles destroys them. Spacebar switches the stage. If something seems off in a stage, switch the stage and it should fix itself. The green plus tile heals you by two points. When you collect it, it disappears for five seconds, then reappears. The fire tile harms you by one point. When it harms you, it gives you I-frames, making you temporarily invincible. The red skull instantly kills you. The blue arrows move you. Pay attention to the health variable. It's... your health. Obviously.
Holy hell, this was quite a ride. I've added 5 new tiles, a full health and I-frame system, and a lot of code. Like, a lot of code. No, seriously, I think this is about three times the size of MK2. This was incredibly hard to do. Changelog: 3.0.0 >Re-Added a Z key function. Z swings the sword. >New health system. When you hit 0, you die. You can't go above 6 (currently). >Added five new tiles: Destroyable, Move, Kill, Heal, Fire. ^>Destroyable tile: Can be destroyed with the sword. ^>Move tile: Basically a one-way wall. It automatically moves you forward. ^>Kill tile: Automatically kills you (sets Health to 0) ^>Heal tile: Heals you by 2 points. ^>Fire tile: Harms you by one point. Gives you 1.25 seconds of temporary invincibility 3.0.1 >Fixed bug where you could gain permanent I-frames >Slightly changed the layout of room 3 3.0.2 >Why am I releasing a fix for this now? >Fixed collision jank Credits: Me Pixel (collision code from MK2) Special thanks to Xander and Jack for taking interest in the project
