Her full name is Hylocereus Mystic Topaz http://www.gemselect.com/gem-info/mystic-topaz/mystic-topaz-info.php Backstory: (Feel free to call her Ceres)~Hylocereus Mystic Topaz is a feather cat, belonging to the tribe of Hummingbird Cats. She altered her name to be Hylocereus M. Topaz because (A) it was too long to say, and (B) "Mystic Topaz" was way too cheesy. Her color scheme odd, compared to the rest of her family, since their pelt looks like the color scheme of a ruby throated humming bird. She's sort of an outcast and all, but intends to make her way in the world, slowly. ================================================== The grey one w/ paint name: Ametrine named after a precious/semi precious gem: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ametrine just bcz. backstory: Ametrine was brought to life by a girl, with a talent for drawing cats. One day, she was just sketching a grey cat. She was quite proud of it, since her doodles usually ended up in failures, but this one didn't. She walked away for a bit, to take a break. Her little sister came in, who was quite a disaster, having just played with some finger paint, splattered paint everywhere. When the girl came back, she was really upset, and crumpled the paper and threw it away. That night, somehow, the picture came to life. It glided of the paper, and quietly slipped out of the house. In the morning, the girl rethought her actions, and decided, maybe, the drawing was salvageable. But when she took out the paper, and uncrumpled it, nothing was there. That drawing is Ametrine, and she is the embodiment of failed artworks, bringing life to those poor, discarded drawings. ;>
