fullscreen and space. Northeast Lines 1000 was the first ever new locomotive the railway got, and was the first locomotive painted, this paint was on all SD-38s, but changed on the SD-40s. The locomotive was repainted back into its first scheme along side fellow SD-38 1001, with the words "Heritage" under the Northeast. The locomotive is now used on steam excursions with N-16 170, M-17 164, and 1001.
