For @mariotroll's MAP Let me know if I need to change anything :3 Hopefully you can read my handwriting XD Oh man, this has got to be the longest backstory I've ever written. (I don't quite have all the details, but here it is) STORY: The girl you see is unnamed, so I'm going to call her Jessica. Jessica and her family have just moved. Her Dad got a new job that required him to live closer to. They just moved in to this older house, and Jessica hates it. The house is always cold, especially in her room. The wallpaper in the hallway outside her bedroom has some weird brown stains on it. She always feels like she's being watched. One Friday night, Jessica's parents decide to go out on a date, leaving her alone with the house. An hour or so after they're gone, the power goes out on her block. Jessica is a bit annoyed, but doesn't think anything more of it. A few hours later, she hears some creaking, and figures it was the old house settling. She's a little bit nervous by now. a bit later, Jessica sees a shadow passing through a hallway. She thought it was just because of a car driving by, but then she hears a laugh. A bone-chilling, spine-tingling laugh. And now she's scared. She grabs the flashlight sitting next to her, and flicks it on. Slowly, she searches for an explanation to the laugh. You might be thinking, "No, don't do it!" or "I would never do that in her situation!". Ask yourself if you really would. If you heard something, you would most likely want to figure out the source, to disprove your imagination and quiet your fear. As she was walking down the hall towards her bedroom, she stops. The stains on the wallpaper looked fresher... and redder... Suddenly, Jessica spun around. She could feel a pair of eyes watching her. She stood there, facing away from her bedroom, holding her flashlight with trembling hands, when everything went quiet and still. Jessica looked down, and saw a spike, made out of inky blackness, sticking out of her chest. The spike retracted, and she turned around, seeing only a dark shape, and a pair of bright green eyes. Light. That was all she could see. She sat up, blinking in the daylight. As her eyes adjusted, she could see flowers and some funny shaped rocks in some kind of field. She realized with a start the stones were graves. She looked down, and realized she was sitting on the headstone of someone's grave. It read "Here Lies Jessica Brooklyn". The name felt familiar to... Uh oh. What was her name? Why couldn't she remember? She rested her hand on the headstone, but it passed right through. She took a closer look at herself, and noticed she was transparent. This was surreal. She didn't know who or where, or even what, she was. She got up from where she was sitting, and looked around. She knew she didn't belong here... but that thought gave her a strange feeling- like she used to belong here, but now she had nothing to do with this place. This was way too confusing. Despite her strange feelings about the graveyard she was in, she looked over some of the graves, as if they might give a clue as to what she was doing there. Maybe she was visiting? Maybe she was kidnapped? Maybe she was...? No. She couldn't bear to think it. Although, it would make sense... She was transparent... She couldn't remember anything... was she dead? The thought of it dragged heart heart down to her stomach. What if she had a family? Did they miss her? Why couldn't she remember them? Overwhelmed with her situation, she sat down. She looked at the grave next to her. "Here Lies Amy Smith"(idk). Huh. Amy sounded like a nice name. Maybe she should call herself that? Why not? It's not like she could remember her old name. This is in my top 5 favorite songs right now. And it has been for a couple months, which is actually a long time for me to not get tired of a song after listening to it practically every day. (That last frame is mah absoloot fave)
