Leila - she/her - Cisgender, Hetro- & Allosexual Doesn't know what lgbtq+ is. Mom forces her to wear dresses, doesn't realize she doesn't like it 2. Leila - she/her - Ally Finds out what lgbtq is because her mom is queerphobic. She doesn't really care about it tho, thinks you should love who you love and be who you want to be. Stops wearing dresses, and wears a bowtie because her head hurts, hoping it helps. 3. Leila - she/her - Cisgender, Lesbian Figures out that head hurting was the start of horns coming through, and stops wearing bowtie. Gets a crush on a girl and thinks she's lesbian. They start 'dating', but because they're both still young so it isn't very serious at all. 4. Leila - She/her - pansexual Girlfriend breaks up with her, and people start hating on her after they find out she's part demon. She tries to cover her small horns, and realizes she doesn't really care about gender when it comes to a future partner. 5. Leila - she/her - pansexual Hates starts getting bad enough for her to attempt cutting of her horns, and mom forces her to wear dresses again (which she hates). 'Shadow' is a nickname the bullies start calling her, as well as using it pronouns for her in a dehumanizing way. 6. Leila - she/it - panromantic asexual Learns what allosexuality is, and is very grossed out, so she starts identifying as asexual. Also realizes that it pronouns don't feel to horrible- good even. Horns come through again. Mom is okay with it if she wears other clothes than dresses, as long as it's still femenine. This makes it feel better, but she cuts her hair in a very dysphoric moment. Mom gets very mad about this. 6. Leila - she/it - pansexual Decides to tell her mom about liking it pronouns and being asexual, despite knowing she's queerphobic. It's mom tells it asexuality doesn't exist and that its normal for children to feel like this, which Leila believes (poor uneducated child). Her mom begins abusing her, and it's life feels very horrible. 8. Leila - it/she - pansexual It cuts its hair even shorter in dysphoria, and she tries to run away from its house. 9. Leila/Shadow - it/she - panromantic asexual Manages to rearange hair, and feels very happy with it, even thouth it starts getting too long. Starts identifying as asexual again. Hasn't returned home ever since running away, which isn't very good for its health. Looks for a fake name, and settles on Shadow. 10. Shadow/(Leila) - it/its - panromantic asexual Meets a mage (Vaati) and finds out it has a talent for magic. It spends most of its days learning magic, and owns up the name Shadow, prefering it over Leila. Cut it's hair again. 11. Shadow - it/its - panromantic asexual Becomes a full blown mage, and abuses its newfound powers, crossing the blurry line between good and evil. It gets ear piercings, and starts messing with too powerful magic, only making its mental and physical health worse. Dyes parts of it's hair purple with magic (not shown in image). 12. Shadow - it/its - panromantic asexual It meets Vio and Red, who help him with his murderous intents and mental health. The two feel like the first friends Shadow ever had, even if something inside it feels like its being held back. It cuts of parts of its horns, afraid people will hate it for being part demon. 13. Shadow - it/he - panromantic asexual, transmasculine demiboy Gets a crush on Vio, and realizes neither of its new friends will hate it for being part demon. Vio asks some things about its gender that make Shadow realize he's a transmasculine demiboy, and tries out he pronouns. Vio and Red let Shadow do his thing again, and even though his moral compass is permanetly hecked up, it doesn't kill people like it's nothing anymore. 14. Shadow - he/it - panromantic asexual, transmasculine demiboy [current I suppose] Starts dating Vio, and becomes happier than ever. He has a lot of mental and physical problems, but has friends to rely on. Is a hecked up, feralish menace who is also one of the most powerful mages alive.
