Today I gave Clover a pregnancy check! 1. She was reluctant to come to me at first, so I stood very still until she was ready. 2-3. After a few minutes, she started toward me, seeming more trusting of me. 4. I moved toward her birth canal, preparing to begin. 5. I stuck my hand in, but she wasn't letting me get too deep, so I couldn't really feel around. 6. I moved closer, getting ready to do it again. 7. She moved away from me slightly, but I was still able to feel that there was definitely a foal in there. 8. After I was done and about to leave, Clover came over and rested her head on my shoulder. Ending Note: Clover was a nervous, but very sweet girl! Vet's Note: Clover is 3 months pregnant, but she's too early on in the pregnancy to tell the foal's sex. I hope you're mother-to-be does well! Please consider sending the foal to Minty Green so we can register them after the birth and give them their proper vaccinations!
