Shelly burst in nervously. “Pebble’s missing!” She yelled. Eyes turned to her. Dizzy, Yatta, Looey, Blot, Astro, Vee and Sprout were all chilling in the toon rooms. “And everyone else too!” The room fell silent. “Slow down Shells, what do you mean gone?” Astro said finally. “I was gonna go ask Brightney if she wanted to play, and she wasn’t in her room! I checked on Pebble napping and he wasn’t there! And it was so quiet I wasn’t..wasn’t-“ Shelly paused. Dizzy stood up quickly. “You checked everywhere?” She asked quietly. “Of course she checked everywhere, Dizzy, she wouldn’t panic this much.” Vee said. Sprout raised an eyebrow. “TuorpS Pu tuhs.” (Shut up Sprout) Blot rolled his eyes. Shelly high-fived him. “Right, okay, roasting people aside, we need to look for them-“ Astro began. Dizzy saw a figure in one of the elevators. “Dillon?!” She yelled, running towards it. “Hey, Diz, wait!” Yatta sped after her. Sprout groaned. “Guess this means we have to follow them. Bummer.” The rest of the group followed them. Dizzy looked around the elevator. No Dillon. She sighed, turning around. Vee stood with her arms crossed. “Dizzy, why’d you run off?” Looey asked. The elevator doors slammed shut behind them. Blot pounded on them. “Olleh! ELLOH!” He yelled. “Guys, what the hell is going on?” Yatta called out. “Floor 1.” A voice called out. Robotic. “T-these elevators can’t be working. G-gardenview was shut down.” Vee spluttered. A small tv in the corner flickers to life. All of their names. All of their pictures. Astro, Shelly, Vee, Sprout and Dizzy all had two hearts. Looey, Blot and Yatta had three. “Hey, no fair! How’d them three get three hearts?!” Dizzy crossed her arms. “We’re the circus trope.” Looey nodded. Vee rolled her eyes. The elevator doors opened. “Okay. Find our friends. Find Pebble. Get out of here.” Astro said. Dizzy ran out first. She saw someone in the distance. “Poppy?!” Poppy turned around. She wasn’t..normal. Her bow was untidy and covered in black goo. “Blot, is that some of your ink?” Dizzy asked. Poppy started running towards her. “Dizzy, get out of there!” Yatta yelled. Dizzy ran back. “Poppy? Hey, it’s me?! We’re friends, remember? Dizzy!” (Scratch said its too long continued on next part)
Blot looked around. He’d never seen this part of Gardenview before. Poppy wasn’t well..Poppy, and he’s seen Boxten. “I-I-I’m the only one fast enough to keep them at bay." Dizzy stammered, picking up an item from the ground. "!?nrohriA." (Airhorn?!) Blot asked. Dizzy walked around the map, Poppy and Boxten running behind her. "Hey guys, how are we gonna get out of this place?" Vee called out. The room went silent.. "Umm, what's this?" Shelly said quietly. A cylinder-like machine with a small red light. "I found one!" Yatta exclaimed. "And me!" Vee wanted to join in. "They look like, machines." Sprout said. "Oh my god Sherlock, thanks for that." Vee rolled her eyes. "Umm, guys, I maybe fast but I'm not doing this forever." Dizzy yelled. Vee started turning the wheel on the machine. Black goo, like the goo on Poppy and Boxten, started filling the machine. Vee was fast, focused. Once it was full, a small ding echoed. "We complete the machines, and then we figure out how to get out of here." Astro said. Yatta kept on missing the skillcheck. "You got this!" Shelly said as she walked past. Yatta worked harder, and once she was finished, candy appeared. "I've never had Extraction Speed Candy before, have you?!" She asked, munching on a chocolate bar. Looey shook his head, a small smile on his face. "Umm, I'm pretty sure this is the last one!" Astro called out, giving it one last ding. "4/4 machines completed! Elevator leaves in thirty seconds." Dizzy looked up. Everyone froze. "?rof gnitiaw, era thaw llew" (Well, what are we waiting for?( Blot said, running towards the elevator. A yelp came from behind him. Dizzy was clutching her arm. "I think I lost a heart." She grumbled. "emoc no, zid!" (Come on Diz) Blot took her arm gently. "You got any special treats, Sprout? Those cookies always made me feel better." DIzzy said as the elevator doors closed behind them. SProut shook his head. "I've not got enough tapes. Vee and me picked up a lot that we saw on the floor." He explained. "Tapes huh?" DIzzy murmured. "?yako uoy era" (Are you okay?) Blot asked Dizzy. "Fine as Dolly Parton working nine to five!" She replied. "Ooh la la." Sprout murmured."Who's Dolly Parton?" Looey asked, the group ignoring Sprout completely, except from Yatta and Shelly who stiffled laughter. "According to many sources, Dolly Parton was a very popular, and still is singer from the US." Vee blurted out. Dizzy grinned. The rest of the group stared at her. Vee fiddled with her microphone. "Sorry, I uh, do that sometimes." she said quietly. "No biggie!" Shelly smiled. A table popped out, and three cards appeared. "Every toon receives 45 tapes." Sprout read out. "Decreases the chance of a Blackout." Vee said. "Every toon receives a random item. OOH, what if it's candy!" Yatta squealed. "I'd say we choose the tapes." Sprout, Dizzy, and Blot agreed on. "Yeah, but a blackout sounds.." SHelly shuddered. "I agree with SHelly." Vee and Astro said. "CANDY!" Looey and Yatta yelled. "3, 2, 1.." The other two cards disappeared, leaving the first one. "I should have enough to heal two people. For now." Sprout said. Vee crossed her arms. "Floor 2. DOors opening." The voice said. The group were tense, waiting for their friends turned monsters overcome with the black goo. They'd get to the bottom of this.
