What’s up gamers! I’ve finished the next largest.. ring thing? For the hat and finally caved and bought a dremel for carving the smaller foam pieces and rounding the edges. I really didn’t want to because of the price but I craft a lot and will likely be able to use it on other projects. I did test the quik-seal which I intended to use to fill in the cracks in the hat but found that it doesn’t stick to the foam so I wouldn’t bother with that unless you have a better plan, I’ll likely just stick with the all purpose contact cement because it works really well. My mom actually bought more of the clothing pieces for the costume because I’ve been so caught up on the hat I actually forgot about the clothing so thank you to her! She got them off of shien which I don’t have so I unfortunately can’t show what exactly she got but I will show the items individually when they come in and how I alter them. Also, I don’t support or like fast fashion brands such as shien but I will be accepting them because it was thoughtful of my mother to order them and I don’t need to be ungrateful and rude. I will also be starting the preparations for the fall musical the Adams family at my school on the 21st of October so I really need to get on that grind because I will have no time to do this so wish me luck! I’ll also be the lead light operator this year because the person who was training me before just graduated so I’m gonna be working hard :’) anyways, super excited and I hope I can get this costume done in time. It may have to be a simplified version at this point but I will likely continue working on it after Halloween because one of Lightning and I’s friends mentioned wanting to go to a convention with us dressed as these characters so that may happen!
