I don't know how but I start running after the rabbit, my black boots slamming again the ground my blue dress slowing me down a bit. I hold the strap of my satchel running faster after the white rabbit. I quickly stop myself as the rabbit jumps into a rabbit hole. I get down on my knees in the dirt leaning in a little. "Hello?" I call out. I lean a little further in and as if someone pushed me in, I fall. I scream as I fall into the rabbit hole. Then everything goes black. I wake up my head pounding. "Where did that darn white rabbit go?" I groan rubbing the back of my head. I stand up dusting off my blue dress picking up my satchel. I glance around. "Where am I?" I say to no one particularly. The flowers here where huge and the grass seemed to glow. I begin to walk no where particular. I walk until I come across the edge of the woods. I walk in carefully pushing branches away from my face. I climb up a tree with ease trying to get a better visual of my surroundings and to find that white rabbit. That's when the trees seem to shift and change. "Well what do we have here?" a voice said next to me. I look to my left not seeing someone then to my right. I stare right into the eyes of a cat. I squeak jumping a little. "Why, your a talking cat!" I say. "If you must know he went that way" the cat said using his paws to point in both directions. "Who did?" I say looking both ways. "The white rabbit." he said blinking slowly. "He went which way?" I ask. "Who went what way?" he says looking confused. "The white rabbit!" I say. "What white rabbit?" he says doing a small turn. "But you just said!" I say starting to frustrated. "Said what?" he said grinning. "Wha-" Then he disappeared the only thing left was his huge grin. That to disappeared. I groan climbing down the tree. "At this pointe I'm never getting home," I say walking down a path. That's when I here singing. I run down the path tripping on something as I tumble forward. I groan sitting up, a guy with orange hair and a huge hat is pouring tea into a cup for a small mouse. My mouth drops open. "Excuse me sir, what might be your name?" I ask standing up carefully dusting my skirt off. He looks up his smile falling quickly. "How did you get here?" he said walking slowly to me. "I followed a white rabbit here!" I say standing up straighter. He's face turns into a huge grin as his eyes go wild. He had a whole crazy look in his face. "Tea time!" he said skipping back to the table. "But it seems like you already had tea and it's not even 3:30 yet! I don't think?" "My dear Alice, it's always tea-time, and we've no time to wash the things between whiles." he said pouring tea into a cup shoving it into my hands. "How did you know my name?" I say looking into the cup. When I look back up he's dancing around the table. "Happy Unbirthday" he began to sing. "Wait sir you never said your name!" I say still holding tea cup. That's when I see the white rabbit again. "Why I am the Mad Hatter!" he yells after me as I take off running after the rabbit. Wait the Mad Hatter? I stop in my tracks losing the white rabbit. "As in Wonderland, Mad Hatter?" I say turning around my eyes widening in realization.
