hey look im supposed to be working on finishing pieces but instead im doing this byrd loves brightly colored clothes. he wears lots of varied outfits, and its kinda therapeutic for me to just sit down and design them. i use a color palette website (coolors.co) and just throw down the colors onto lineart. i challenge myself not to skip palettes just because they 'look bad' and tell myself anything goes! some of these obviously look better than others, but its generally a good, non-stressful way to brainstorm clothes for my favorite fashion queen. I process my favorite ones with special patterning, adornment, etc. and build onto them later on - this is my base step beforehand. the last pic is a modification with the last palette (he looks like a heckin penguin in the last picture aaagh)
art and character @ me color palettes: coolors.co i actually would be fine if someone wanted to remix/recolor this project! usually im against recolors, but as long as you don't claim byrd as your own character (cause hes not ok) and give credit to me for lineart, its fine by me ;D if i like the palette i may use it in the future (ive provided the plain lineart within the project, the two things that remain consistent are his skin and hair color. that and all his masks are metallics or black)
