First things first this game has jump scares and flashing lights! Second of all this game is MUCH harder than the original! Third of all thanks to @Jamlepenut for the scary chase scene music and the terrified cat costumes. A MESSAGE TO PLAYERS: just survive for 2 and a half minutes and an exit will open, but the monster doesn't want you to escape alive. Arrow keys/WASD to move --!SPACE TO USE FLASHLIGHT!-- That's the controls. That's it. Don't get caught. But if it were to see you, zigzag. That's his secondary weakness. NEW UPDATE: THE INTELLEGINCE The intelligence update adds a new CoilBot™ who can only hear you if you get too close to the maximum amount of sound or a lantern spawns. She is completely blind and will only chase you if you're close enough to a "sound point." In the cases where Lanternmonster isn't in the game, the "close enough" radious increases and she can hear you talking. And, to top it all off, she never seems to just stop talking. On top of that, here are the chances for every encounter: 25% - Just Lanternmonster 50% - Just Intelligence 25% - Both Lanternmonster and Intelligence If you're playing without Lanternmonster, a custom chase theme will play during Adrenaline(when the timer reaches 0) Also, I know 300 seconds is five minutes, but The timer ticks down every HALF second, so it's really two-and-a-half minutes. In the upcoming v1.2 update I will add a new player model to fit with the lore.
Thanks to @Dominick61187 for the code that makes the light come from the head Again, thanks to @Jamlepenut for the scary chase scene music and the terrified cat costumes. Thanks to @cloudicecrown for the inspiration that made it to trending Thanks to Alexa by Amazon for the inspiration of Intelligence and without further Ado, please enjoy my horror game! -----LORE----- Entry 1: My name is [Your username]. I'm an engineer of a huge prototype called the CoilBot™. The idea is that, using plastic wires and complex code, we can bring daily machines to you! The test results show the emergency Lockdown code is perfect. Now, if something bad happens, every Coilbot™ will have an uncontrollable urge to head to the maze used in previous tests, giving us engineers all the time we need to fix the broken code! Entry 2: The final quirks of the code have been fixed. The CoilBot™ is complete! The way we made it is placing our special wires around a strong power source, and then plugging in an electronic, we used an electronic lantern, then placing the chip on the power source, which completes the machine, activating the robot. The best part: All chips are linked to a file that all of our engineers have access to, allowing quick access to our machines in case code fails to work. Entry 3: Something strange just happened. I saw Quill, another engineer, messing with the file, even though it was complete and had no need for improvement. We aren't permitted to make last-minute changes to the code. I don't trust him. I never did. I'm going to report this to the boss. Entry 4: This is terrible. Before I could report Quill's mistake, all the CoilBots™ went rogue and started attacking the rest of the engineers. I'm currently hiding in a locker, watching another engineer be used as a power source by the CoilBots™, turning him into one himself. The once-alive engineer got up with the weird speaker thing my partner used to have, used as a machine for the wires to move. The LanternBot (our first CoilBot™) just turned toward my locker. I hope it doesn't see----- [the audio cuts off] Entry 5: This is not some boring voice message stating how the company is going. This is a call for help. The Lockdown code has been initiated, and the LanternBot brought me into the maze. I'm currently hiding between three pillars, covered in wires but no electronic or chip. If you're hearing this, open the maze to let me out. The Lockdown will prevent them from leaving the maze, but it will allow me to escape in one piece. Quick, before they find me, Open the gate. This is [Your username here], over and out.
