Sorry for the wait on these!! College hits like a truck man. I have been incredibly busy, more so than I have ever been before. But I've also been really happy, so it all comes out even. I'll yap more about college later. You're here for the results. The first result is me saying I lied. I said there'd be five winners. There's actually seven. I can't help myself. Here they are, in no particular order: @clawpaw_0 https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1205403510/ Like come on. You knew you'd win a spot here. Not only creating that many paper dolls, but then using them to heckin recreate the entire first chapter?? That's crazy dude. Creativity off the charts. @Rainclloud and @Silvertaill https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1203883783/ First of all I love dioramas. I was hoping to get some as entries, and you delivered holy heck. I love the detail of the glowy sparkles, and each individual cat is so well sculpted! Big fan of this thing here. Good job. @Windy_Willow and @Fugato159 https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1213836320/ / https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1214687036/ Literally the perfect balance of creativity, technical skill, silly little references, and humor. As soon as I saw Breezy covered in string I knew this had to be a winner. I love the detail put into everything on the board, and how the characters interact with it! It's super cute and very funny. @iamatacocat123 Hey did I mention I really like dioramas? The detail put into this one is super cool, plus the little stop motion?? I love. The sparkles growing in Hazepaw's eyes is what completely sold me, silly and cute, both things I love. The magnets by themselves were already enough for this to be considered a finalist, but then you go and make a whole poster with cool art and collage elements??? I love the use of color and framing, and its functional use as a magnet holder is heckin clever. Me when the art has a practical usage too. Double sided, multimedia, and good color blending? It hits the right part of my brain. I always thought the dragon puppet art thing was cool, and this is a wonderful example of exactly how cool they can get. Really annoying that you have to make something this cool, cause now I have to pick you as a winner, and everyone will think I'm biased because we're friends irl. I love all the little fur details you added, makes it feel super storybook esc. And then a whole animation?? Dude. Come on now. The people will think I'm biasedddddd. You can't be doing this to me. And how am I supposed to make you believe that I'm unbiased here either, huh? That this is genuinely one of the coolest pieces of art I've ever seen? Pretty rude of you tbh. ___ Anyway. Y'all want prizes now, huh. Like I said, two fullbody drawings each. You'll get shaded and unshaded versions. Send me your ref sheets. (Also if you want to swap one or both of the fullbodies out for custom designs instead, that's allowed too. I can also do pet portraits if you'd prefer, or just general drawing requests. The power is in your hands (with some limits, obviously)). ___ For everyone else: Yalls this was so hard to choose the winners of. You gotta stop being so skilled and creative. It's really annoying. However, I couldn't pick three hundred winners, as much as I'd like to. So instead I offer you this: 1- I hope you at least had fun with this project! It was a big experiment, and I wasn't sure how it would turn out, so I'm kinda overjoyed to see all the things you've managed to create! There were so many ideas I would've never thought of myself, and I hope, even if you didn't win, that this was still an overall pleasant experience to get to try something new, or to at least get a chance to have fun making something. 2- You literally own EA merch now. And you didn't even have to pay shipping. 3- In my experience, the worst part of not winning a contest is not having your hard work acknowledged. And I genuinely appreciate every entry that was made. It's an incredible feeling that my silly little cat stories are deserving of the amount of attention and love you all put into these projects. So! I will (over the next few days) be going through and commenting at least one thing I liked about every entry. I want you all to know that I acknowledge the effort you put into each and every one, and even if it's not as good as official contest prizes, I want my appreciation to be known. (Exceptions may be if rules were broken or if the comments on your entry are turned off.) ___ (Y'all owe my roommate a big thanks. I made her choose whether I finish the next chapter or the results tonight, since I only had time for one, and she said results.) ___ Thank you all for entering! - Meadow out :)
