Kit applying for: Splashkit! I just discovered this roleplay. He’s so cute and fluffy aaa!! I drew him! future gender identity: I’d like for Splashkit to stay a male and use he/him, but he will always be an ally! Sometimes he may question his gender. future personality: With two younger siblings, I think Splashkit will grow to be a responsible cat! You could count on him to keep others safe or lead a patrol. He likes playing and water. Playing in the water?- He is ambiverted, leaning more towards introvert though he doesn’t need to recharge a ton. Bad traits, he can be mischievous and secretive. Often when he is having a bad day, he could snap at cats who are around him. He doesn’t mean anything by it, but sometimes acts before thinking. questions: Do I get to decide his eye color? :o maybe a light bluee… other: Ima add cerebrellar hypoplasia. 1. Cause “Cerebellar hypoplasia usually occurs in kittens as a result of their mother being infected with feline parvovirus during pregnancy.“ - CATS Protection website So, if it’s okay of course, we could say that their mother had feline pervovirus and only Splashkit was affected! With this, it affected Splashkit’s brain, not letting the cerebellum develop properly, giving him badly coordinated movements. The cerebellum controls cat’s balance, movements and coordination. 2. Effect Cerebrellar hypoplasia is nicknamed “wobbly cat syndrome” for a reason. It makes the effected kitty unbalanced, wobbly, and have trouble moving! He will sway and fall over as a kitten. It is hard for him to control the movement. This poses so many challenges. He won’t be able to sit still very well, and it will impact his hunting and fighting. He can’t go through with complicated or precise battle moves, nor sneak up on prey easily. I will make sure to include how the syndrome affects his movements when roleplaying as him. 3. How he will deal with it There’s not much he can do, as there is no cure and the condition doesn’t get better or worse. He will need extra help when being mentored/taught. Splashkit is still able to walk and run and jump, but he might go with other activities like guarding camp, or babysitting. He will try his best and I’ll see how it goes in rp! The pose he’s in for my drawing doesn’t really make sense with this syndrome lol
